The vampire diaries 6x06 "The more you ignore me, the closer I get" new speculations

Thanks to the last official TVD 6X06 synopsis  we can make some new speculations :

- Damon will probably come back in this episode since he discovered how to return in episode 5. Thanks to a fan, we have photos showing that Damon was in set with Candice and Paul the same day so this corrobores that he will see them in episode 6. We also think that Bonnie will not come back with him. Although she is still alive because we could see her in set with Joshua Butler in episode 8.

- Seems that Sarah remembers something about her past. Could this be that she remembers that Elena attacked her?

- Elena is forced to deal with the consequences of her actions.  Will she have to face the fact that Damon has come back and she doesn't remember him?

- The title of this episode is (as the others) the name of a Morrisey's song released in 1994. The lyrics remind us Damon fighting to get Elena's memories back. 

- Alaric can't compel Jo. Why? Has this something to do with the explosion in the corfield in episode 5? Could it have afected the anti-magic spell in some way?

- Jeremy hits rock bottom. Will he discover that Damon has come back without Bonnie?

These are some of our ideas. Looking forward to seeing what happens in next episode, and come back here again to share our new speculations with all of you!!

Will Damon and Elena finally reunite in The vampire diaries 6X8?

- It seems that we'll finally have our expected Damon/Elena encounter with kiss under the rain included. Joshua Butler tweeted this: 

- Julie Plec and Pascal Verschooris also posted this about rain:

- The same day Darren Genet posted this photo with the caption "Raindrops over Mystic Falls", but inmediately erased it. Today he has posted it again, without the comment. Why? Too much information? Will Damon and Elena reunite in Mystic Falls? We can apreciate two figures standing over a bridge. Who are they? Are they Damon and Elena? 

- Thanks to a casting call, we supose that we will see some type of fundraising event at this episode. The series was looking for extras with suits and coctail dresses for work three days this past week. 

- Yesterday, Darren Genet posted this image of Nina Dobrev in TVD set. She wears a coctail dress and behind  her we can appreciate a some type of stage. Could it be the fundraising event that we mention above? Will Elena reunite with Damon dressed like this? For us it would be perfect. Damon is dreaming with this reunion for a long time so he has to see Elena more beautiful than his memories.

- Ian Somerhalder posted this pic yesterday. He wears a suit and seems to be in Mystic Falls. We think that if he is dressed like that is because he is going to attend some type of event like the fundraising. If this is true Damon probably returns in the end of episode 7  and searchs for Elena in episode 8. 

But where is the rain in this context? and why is him in Mystic Falls? has the magic spell disappeared ? or is there another reason behind? Do you remember our past article "Damon, human in season 6?" so here is our theory: Damon returns as human, this is the reason that explains why he is in Mystic Falls, naturally he wants to meet with Elena as soon as possible. We don't know how, but he learns that Elena is at the party. Then, he goes to his house, changes his clothes and goes there. When he arrives at the event he is not able to find Elena and he finally meets her outside the party, under the rain. Remember that these are our theories and we are open to more speculations.

"Damon and Elena are longing for each other", Julie Plec confirms.

After a long wait we  could finally hear Julie Plec talking at Comic-con 2014 about Damon and Elena feelings in the begining of season 6:  

"Damon and Elena are obviously not together at the moment because he's not with us. But I think what's beautiful is in the show they are together spiritually because she's missing him so deeply and he is dying to get back to her so profoundly. Even though they're not physically with each other, that's what each of them want so badly and so much of the first part of the season is trying to draw the back together and then all the things that get in their way and it's bad. It's bad, but it's beautiful. Happy tears. Sad tears. So they're longing for each other and longing is just as beautiful as being together in a lot of ways too." Julie Plec.

We finally have some clues about the way Damon and Elena are feeling, but the most important fact... for speculation:

- Julie talks about "first part of the season". It seems that the rumor about Delena getting together in 6X8 could be true.

- Their reunion won't be easy.

- Many flashbaks: If Elena is missing Damon so deeply she will remember him a lot of times for sure! And the same for Damon.

- Happy tears: will we see them crying of joy? when? when will Elena discover the truth about her love? or when will they reunite? Everything seems perfect...

This speech is EPIC! It left us breathless! We can't be happier! We love you Julie! You're so romantic and passionate! Damon will be dying to get back to Elena and we're dying to see him like that. And you?

Damon and Elena summer flashbacks: a reality in six season?

Thanks to @tvd_reign, we discovered yesterday that the flashbacks of the best summer in the live of Damon and Elena may be a reality in the six season of The vampire diaries!

In the photos that Nina  is showing us day by day in Whosay, we can see that one day her hair is brown, the other day she has red streaks back and then the next day her hair is all brown again. We know that Elena began to wear those streaks in Season 4, after turning off her humanity. She was wearing them until Katherine become a passenger in Elena's body and gets rid off them in Season 5. This means she was wearing them when spending and unforgettable summer with Damon.

So this leads us to the fact  that probably we will be able to see some sort of flashback of those days. Delena fans cross your fingers!

We can confirm it now: Damon is back!!

Ok, ok, we must confess that we knew it. But now we have an spoiler from the protagonist, confirming our suspicions: Damon is back in Season 6!!! OMG, finally we can say it out loud: WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN! 

This is what Ian Somerhalder posted today on Instagram: "Being a Dad... Morning vet visit with moke before heading to my 1st Day of work for SEASON 6 of The Vampire Diaries! Wow, how did this happen??? I'll tell you how: you all are the greatest audience on the planet! Thank you for all of your love and support over these years- none of this could be possible without you! See you at Comic Con, then Teen Choice Awards, then Emmy weekend, then in my dreams. Huge love to you all! Love, Ian."

I don't know what do you think, but for me it is the most important news of the week. Thanks Ian Somerhalder for thinking on your fans and keeping us informed as much as you can (I know you can not say many things but we appreciate your gesture ;-)).

New look for Damon in Season 6 ?

Ian Somerhalder has recently published in his facebook account this image. We know that it's from a magazine photo shot published in 2013 (thanks to @DamonsterMash) but why does Ian publish it just now and with the message "these boots where made for sucking blood" ? He dresses differently as usual, with colours. Is Ian giving us a clue about Damon? Is he living a new human life in Texas or another place without memory? We don't know anything yet but one thing is for sure: he looks adorable with this  look, don't you think?

Damon Salvatore, from villain to hero

Here we are again! This time we bring you an article dedicated to the unique and inimitable Damon Salvatore, our hero. The vampire diaries wouldn't be the same without him and because of that we know  he'll come back from wherever he is.

From our point of view, Damon is the character who evolves the most in TVD.  From a real villain since the moment he appears in Mystic Falls in the first episode of season 1 to a real hero saving the town in the last episode of season 5. 

But who is really Damon Salvatore?  If we look closely inside of him, like Elena did, we can see (like we said in our tribute to Damon and Elena) that love has always guided all his movements. LOVE made him want to be a vampire, LOVE made him return to Mystik Falls and LOVE made him die saving all the town. 

When we discover in the series the real reason behind all his actions, the only thing we can do is to fall in love with him. Our hero waited 145 years for saving Katherine from the church, where she was supposed to be. And in all those years, unlike Stephan, he never stopped loving her. Is it possible not to love a man like him? Is not this DEVOTION worthy of mention?

When Damon fell in love with Katherine in his early years as human, he was naive and innocent. She played with his feelings, she never loved him and to make matters worse, she left him to believe she was dead. For Damon, knowing the truth made him realise that all his life had been a lie. Something not easy to digest.

Despite this bitter lesson, Damon falls in love again, this time with another girl. She is not an ordinady woman, she is Elena Gilbert and despite the fact she is apparently like Katherine, they are completely different. She is goodness personified, always thinks of others before herself and the most important, she REALLY loves Damon as he deserves. But it is not until the end of Season 5 (when she realises she has lost him forever) that she discovers the magnitude of her feelings. As Julie Plec (TVD Executive Producer) said, Elena discovered that she loved Damon, she loved him more than she had ever loved anyone.

As well as his love for Katherine made him take the wrong path, Damon's love for Elena makes him be a better person. As he said once, he would do anything for her. He loves her without expecting anything in return. He loves her in either way, human or vampire and he is the only person that make feel Elena like no other does. As the expression says "If you love something, set it free". Damon loves her so deeply that in the end of episode 5.17 he let her go because she asks him to.

Despite all of this, Damon is always thinking that he's not worthy of the love Elena professes for him. The truth is he is afraid of being happy, he is afraid of expecting anything from life.  As Elena said once, it is easier for him to be hated. When in episode 4.13 Elena asks him to take The cure with her and start a human life together, we were witness of the look in his face. His emotions surface revealing the truth, a human life with the woman he loves more than anything in the world would be for him a dream come true. But his fears aoutcrop again and he ends telling her a lie and hurting her, before leaving.

In the last episodes of Season 5 he tries to break with her. Although he finally learns that is impossible for him to be away from her, as he confesses to Elena in episode 5.20. When finally the two realize that fact, that their place is wherever the other is forever, Damon dies in episode 5.22 after saying to her (despite she can't hear him) she is by far the greatest thing that has ever happened to him in his 173 years on Earth. Don't you think it is the most romantic speech we have ever heard? He dead like a hero, with no regrets, because he knows that his beloved Elena is safe and this is all that matters. Did you notice the title of the song playing in the background during the good bye scene?: Be Alright. He, Damon, will be alright because he knows Elena is alive. And he wants she to Be Alright because he is dead knowing he has been finally loved by her.

Damon can't bear to be separated from Elena

Damon Salvatore finally finds the only thing that he has really wanted in life, to be loved. But he dies without time enough to enjoy from that love, leaving not only Elena but all the TVD fans under shock. But we know he will come back, he deserves a happy ending more that anyone in TVD.  As we said in another article maybe his death is not in vain but he will be "rewarded" by coming back as a human. He deserves the opportunity to start from scrath and all what that entails. And we are sure about another thing: Elena will somehow find the way to be human again too.

At his goodbye speech, Damon says to Elena that he peaked, that nothing will be better than this. Oh, how wrong you are Damon, this is only the beginning of a true and long-lasting love story.

A new RING for Damon?

TVD friends, have you remarked the new ring that Damon is wearing in his right hand? Have a look at this Zoom we have done to cover page of TV Guide magazine, promoting Comic-Con 2014. 

As you can see, Damon is wearing a NEW RING, and in the RIGHT hand instead of the left one. Usually these people care about all the details for official photographies, so we are probably in face of a CLUE! 

But, what does it mean? is it probably a ring that allows a human Damon not to get older (as it happened to Katerina Petrova in the past)? We don't know, but we are sure that this ring has a meaning to be there, and to appear so clearly in an official photo. We will continue investigating and especulating about this, and of course keeping you informed about all the details!

More spoilers expected for 26th July at Comic-Con

Yes, TVD fandom. Last news we have is that our beloved TVD actors (Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Kat Graham) and TVD Executive Producer (Julie Plec) will attend Comic-Con on 26th July, where they will talk about new season of our favourite show.

It will take place from 4:00 to 4:45 pm in San Diego, USA.

There are also rumours that the first promo for episode 6x01 will be also launched by those dates. We are waiting for this!!!

TV Guide magazine cover page has a special reference to Comic-Con. If you look at this carefully, you will see Damon is still covered by the white fog, and touching Elena's hair with his hand. Elena's hand is trying to touch Damon but they don't touch yet! 

We can also sense a kind of smile in Damon's face, whereas Elena and Stephan are more serius. Can it by a kind of clue?

Many interpretations can be done from this image, and we will be here to continue giving you our opinion and speculations!

Happy Birthday Damon Salvatore!

Today, 28th June 2014, we should be celebrating the birthday of our beloved character of The Vampire Diaries: DAMON SALVATORE.

Even if we don't know where he is, one thing is sure: we know he is alive. So this is for you Damon: happy birthday, angel, wherever you are! Come back to us as soon as possible, we miss you.
                                                       

WHERE IS DAMON?

   At the end of Season 5 we could see Damon and Bonnie ending with a white light covering them, and Damon without finishing his last sentence “I don’t kn….” So where are them? We know they will be back in Season 6, as confirmed by Julie Plec. Furthermore, there was a clue about that in 5x22, when Damon kisses Elena and promises her he will come back to here. But where, when and in what form? About the form we already discussed in previous note: we are sure he will come back as human. But where is he? There are different possibilities here: 

1- He can be with Bonnie in heaven. He will communicate with Elena in her dreams during the first episodes, so that she will suspect that he is still alive and there should be a way to take him (and Bonnie) back to Earth. If she could suspect that something wrong was happening to Stephan at the beginning of Season 5, why should not be capable of detecting Damon is somewhere around and could be rescued? Although this theory of heaven doesn't have much sense for us because if they are there with the rest of people that died (e.g. aunt Jenna), why our friends will only make them back to life, and not the rest?

2- Taking into account that the writers wanted to decrease the level of mythology aspects in the new seasons and make it more real and organic, we think that Damon probably came back to Earth at the end of 5x22, just as the others did. Maybe Bonnie's grandmother replaced Bonnie as the anchor in the last minute and traslated them to Earth before The Other side was gone. Why not?

From previous 2 hypotheses, the one that has more sense for us is the second one. But if he is on the Earth, why he has not returned with his friends? Because he has his memory lost. Personally this idea is not our preferred one, but is the only explanation we can find to the fact that he does not appears with his loves in the first episode. He has lost his memory and is somewhere around, living his life although not completely, because he feels something is missing him. Damon could dream about Elena or see her face somewhere, like in a newspaper. This could be the detonant for him to start seeking  answers about his past. 

But in this case, how will the writers make him finally come back to Elena? This is a point that will be continuously discussed in this blog, where we will be detailing our hypothesis with every spoiler we could have from Writers. Will you help us to complete it and guess where Damon is? Feel free to provide your own hypothesis and work together with us in this blog!

Damon, human in Season 6?

After weeks of speculations, our suspicions were confirmed: Damon died at the end of Season 5, leaving hundreds (even thousands) of fans incredibly touched and devastated after the epic farewell speech to Elena. Being Damon one of the main characters of TVD, we know it is impossible that he is gone forever. So where is he? how is it supposed that he will return if The Other Side has gone forever, as continuously remarked by TVD writers? and how will he return? There is only one thing we know for sure: he is dead for a reason; and of course we have a theory about how he will return….because one thing is sure, he will come back in season 6 !

After episode 5x22, Julie Plec said in an interview that Tyler is the only character that returned human from The Other Side because he was the only one that died in his human form. The others are still vampires.

Despite of that, after waking up in The Other Side during episode 5x22, we remarked Damon had no strength to raise the iron bar for saving sheriff Forbes; fortunately Alaric was there to help him. 

Can it be possible that he was already human? In fact, we don’t see how Damon dies exactly. When he crashes the car into The Mystic Grill, the only thing that we know is that he wasn’t wearing the seat belt and this made him fly out of the car. Maybe this probably protected him from the explosion and in the end, he died by the gunshot wound. Also remarkable the fact that Damon’s dead body was not so burned as Elena’s, at least in the images that we could see, so he couldn’t die due to the fire.. It’s true too that Elena finds Bonnie first in The Other side, which means that she died first.. All these points bears out the fact that Damon could die in his human form… 

Could it be that a surprise for season 6 that Julie wants to keep as a secret?

There are several points that reinforce our theory: 1) a creature that symbolizes evil does not deserve a second chance to life, so he was probably human when he died; 2) coming back as human from death is the only way he could be converted into human without getting older quickly, as it happened to Katherine in previous episodes when she took “the cure”; 3) at the end of season 4, Elena asks Damon to take the cure because he had been bitten by a werewolf. He said that he couldn’t stand the fact of being growing old whereas she was remaining young. We know that in this series nothing is said by chance, so this could be a clue of what is coming in the next episodes.

Don’t forget that Ian Somerhalder said in an interview that Damon comes back in Season 6 in a different way and that all of them are very excited about it.

A good question that arises here is: in that case, why was he in The Other Side if he died already as human? it is a good question, in fact, and our answer here is probably due to the magic ring he is wearing to be protected from the sun. Although of course it is one of our theories, and it can be open to more speculations…

Another open point that last episode left us for speculations is: where is he now, if The Other Side does not exist anymore? we know that, thanks to Bonnie’s grandma, both Bonnie and Damon were saved and went to a mysterious place. At the end of the episode we could see they were surrounded by a white light, different from the darkness that abducted Katherine and Markos previously. This is the same white light that surrounded Damon and Elena during the epic kissing scene in the middle of the episode (their last kiss). The series logo is white too at the end of the episode and in the promotional poster of season 6 we can see Damon, Elena and Stephan with a mysterious white mist floating between them. Could it be a kind of Heaven?

But, wasn’t it Julie Plec that mentioned that they wanted to stop all the mythological stuff and making the series more organical and normal? how can they do this if 2 main characters are lost in “heaven” or wherever they are? is it possible then that they could be back to Earth without anybody knowing about it? everything can happen in this series, so why not?

What do you think? Do you want our beloved Damon back as human? and where is he? We know that there is nothing sexiest in the world than Damon as a vampire but even so our answer is YES, we want DAMON HUMAN in Season 6!!!!!! This is the only way he could get the human life he has always wanted and deserved, growing old, having children and building a future with her beloved Elena once she is also converted into human, maybe in Season 7...although this is another topic for speculations.
