TVD won Best Ever TV Awards 2014 in several categories

- Love Triangle you are so over: Damon, Elena and Stephan
- Biggest Tearjerker: Damon and Elena's goodbye
- Moment That Made You Want To Throw Out Your TV: Damon's death
- Best Guilty Pleasure
- Sexiest Moment: Klaus and Caroline's hookup
- Best couple: Damon and Elena

Julie Plec (TVD Executive producer), after being informed about the results, commented yesterday on twitter: "TVD fans have been voting like crazy! You guys are killing it!". And she has also posted today about this: "P.S. Thanks to all who voted. Awards and accolades keep our show thriving and surviving. Six years. Wow. Much love to all".
